  • More of the same...

I cannot concur with the positive reviews, this tome has defeated me - for now - 85% in. I do not doubt that Mr 'Moz' is intelligent - he appears determined that this should be evinced in his writings - or that he is a man who has been wronged far more than he has wronged others. What this interminable trip into the troubled soul of Moz achieves, most assuredly, is draining any light from the readers own soul. It is largely silent on the process of writing or making music, equally shy about revealing much of the man, if not his phobias and dread. Perhaps one for the most ardent fan of his music who, presumably, is comfortable with the wall to wall gloom? For all others, save the costs of therapy and look elsewhere for your next read.

  • Questions remain

A good although long read - still questions to answer though. Written in Morrissey's unique style, peppered with song lyrics and full of name dropping.

  • a divinie autobiography

Fascinating and beautiful look inside the mind and soul of a divine artist. Luckily for fans and others, he's able to report and articulate his thoughts and existential adventures, just as briliantly, deeply and toutchingly as with his music.
