  • First time Avatar comic reader...

I loved this story, and how it carries on straight after the end of the series. I'm a HUGE fan of Avatar so I had high expectations after watching the series, and I think this story is so fun and reminds me of all the character's funny personalities and I loved it. It passed all expectations. 😂🥰It's nice to see their stories carry on because you just think at the end of a series, oh and they live happily ever... Blah blah... But you never think of what could have happened. And then you watch Korra and realise Omds I miss the Gaang and it'd be fun to see what happened after the ending because of all the stuff in Korra 🧐. Anyway, I loved everything and didn't dislike any of it either and I'm also looking forward to reading the other stories that I just bought like the Rift and the Search 🤭😆

  • Great continuation of the show!

The continuation of the show via this new medium of manga books for the characters is a great way to keep their stories alive and to give us fans exactly what we wanted: more about our favourite characters from the world of “Avatar: the last Airbender”. A great read and the omnibus (library) edition with all 3 parts together was great; the extra notes on how the characters were designed for the page, instead of the screen, was very interesting and insightful especially for a fellow artist like myself. Highly recommend to anyone who loved the show! :)

  • Matches the feel of the TV series

The art style is a really good match - not identical to the series but recaptures it very closely. I also found the dialogue and voices of the characters to be very well written - only a small handful of words felt new or different, and I could imagine their voice actors saying the lines. The fight choreography, the plot, the writing, it was all wonderful. A beautifully executed addition to the franchise.

  • Fan Service

I just watched avatar for the first time and I loved the show. When I got to the end I felt so lost like I was losing something dear to me. When I heard there were comics for the avatar I just knew I had to read them. This comic was really good and I can’t wait to read “the search” it’s such a fan service to know what comes out of zuko asking about his mother.

    Thanks for your feedback!
