  • Positively Hooking!

Awful Auntie was so fun. The auntie was the best character, David Walliams made you think she was okay in the beggining but then when she locks Stella up you realise she's much darker than you expected. The author gives this amazing backstory with the autie and her little brother. This book is suspenseful, surprising and vivid. Read it.

  • Awful Auntie

Stella is very brave. I liked the book because the language is very detailed and expressive. Yet again David Walliams has captured the needs and meaning of a book and spiced it up with silliness. Well done David!

  • Awful Auntie:)

I am a big fan of this splendid story. I love each of the characters personalities, and I found it quite difficult for me to put down. I also really enjoyed the way the plot links together and the readers are slowly able to put the pieces together. I respectfully disagree with the people who gave it one star, and think it would be better to give constructive critisicm on why the book did not appeal to them. I am extremely fond of DW stories, and this one was no different. The only thing I can say in the way of negative comments is that it did not contain Raj the newsagent, whom I find extremely entertaining. But it was a brilliant and humerous strory all the same, and perfectly captured the characaters emotions. Thank You for making my day that bit more enjoyable, David Walliams.
