  • Baby Mine

I’ve read the whole thing. It’s really slow and dare I say tedious. Was waiting for the whole thing to wrap up, but there’s a second book. Curious as t how it plays out, but not really certain I’d read the second book if I got the opportunity. Maybe if it was free, like the first one.

  • Baby mine

Book was ok but could have been better. Parts were pretty unbelievable.

  • Wait, story is not done

You write a story that is not done, it does not continue with a segue adding and including old and new characters, you just have to keep paying to finish the first story.

  • Disappointing

Okay, before I even get into this book, know that this is the type of duology that doesn’t really have any conclusions in the first book and ends on a cliffhanger. I only mention this because this feels like one of those books where the story is dragged out so there are two books instead of one per couple. This was an Okay and very dramatic book. Both of the characters are jerks. Him because he’s a salty mess and her because she played him. I wanted to yell this at her every time she mentioned that Brandon was straightforward with how he felt about her, “Hunter told you to come back when the bar was closed.” Hunter literally showed her interest and told her to come back to him later. But then he was a jerk to her to such a dramatic level (after two years had passed), that his change in demeanour (after a big event) gave me whiplash. And then, from there, everything was just so predictable. It was at the point where I would stop reading and say to myself, “this and this and this is going to happen because of all of the foreshadowing.” Also, hey. I hate books where people shame others for potential LEGAL feelings between consenting adults. “You know that she’ll always be off-limits, right?” I hated that sentence so much. You know she can make her own choices, right? I wanted to enjoy this and I’m not going to lie, the other books are tempting me. I’m wary, however, that they’re going to be the same thing where I’m baited with a cliffhanger at the end of the first book and will follow the same pattern as this book where I’m forced to buy the second book because there is absolutely no closure. The story felt drawn out, editing was needed for the repetitive narrative, and to be honest, I wouldn’t be mad about this being a duology if the story was structured better. When I was reading this and I saw I was on the last chapter, but they hadn’t even reached a climax in the story, I was shocked. An example of a romance duology that did it really well is HIM by Sarina Bowen. There was a conclusion in the first book, and even if you know there is a sequel but you don’t want to learn more about the couple, you could easily just leave the first book content with the experience and the conclusion given to you. I wished I had liked this book, especially because I was sucked in at some points. But I just left feeling disappointed.

  • I’m hooked!

Fantastic story of love and loss and learning to live again. Tear jerker, panty twisting and has you mentally shouting at the characters! I immediately downloaded the rest of the books written so far and am anxiously awaiting the rest to release.

    Thanks for your feedback!
