    Interesting insight

I must admit coming into this book, I expected a full blown cliché of the overbearing Asian mom and while the majority of the book feels that way on the surface, the depth into Amy’s thoughts are peeling like onion skin eventually to the path of self-discovery.

    Intresting

Quite an intresting book. I play piano and i can relate to practising for hours on end. Id highly reccomemd it to Chinese American immigrants as no doubt you will relate to around 90 percent of the book . The contreversty of was quite um.... misunderstood . They read it as a parenting book not a ironic memior . Loved it overall .
