    Battle Ready

This book hits the spot. Service to your Country and teammates in some of the worst time. Then after finding the help you need for survives guilt and post traumatic stress. I agree it is not a disorder as much as it is a condition. Help is out there it is just finding the help you can trust. Thank for this book. Brought back some hard memories. But also showed me again how dealing with, makes the after affects easier to deal with.

    Well worth s reaf

A very enjoyable memoir of a remarkable man. From his humble beginnings to what he would call his humble achievements his story held my attention and broadened my knowledge. Quite a story!

    Fighting through it

A great story of human strength, frailty and faith in which a Navy SEAL overcomes the challenges of his youth and goes on to become both an elite warrior and physician, while overcoming his own psychological demons from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

    Excellent

In the middle of this book when he starts talking about his feelings and emotions I felt like he was describing me. I had to stop several times and say “How do you know me”. I am one of the lucky ones that have received help from the VA but was very reluctant to do so at first. I recommend this book to any Veteran.
