  • Such a touching story!

Such a touching story! I absolutely loved this book. Heck, I love ANYTHING that Vi creates. But this story was amazing on so many levels. I really liked Rachel. Talk about sassy. But even with her interesting character traits, she had a very rough past that really had me rooting for her to find her happy ending. Caine was perfect. I loved how he didn't take any guff from Rachel and how he tried his best to follow his moral compass, even when it tore him up inside. The story had a really cool twist to it that I won't spoil. Little clues were dropped throughout the story as to what the twist was, and I was so happy with the end result! All in all, this is exactly the caliber of story that I've come to expect from Vi, and it's yet another reminder of why will read ANYTHING she writes! (I received a copy of this book in consideration of an honest review)

  • Definitely not a mistake

Another easy read by Vi Keeland. We first meet Caine West when he is getting a tongue lashing from Rachel when she mis-identifies him as someone who is messing her best friend around. A few days later we then find out that Rachel is professor hotties new TA. This leads to a lot of 'will they/won't they' relationship, where both characters have baggage that they haven't quite gotten rid of. I really enjoyed the characters relationship in this book and how it builds, it has a sense of honesty to it that some romances don't have as well as showing that relationships are hard. I particularly liked the relationship that Caine had with his sister and nieces, it was very cute. Another good read, can't wait for the next one.

  • Cute story

Good characterisation, sparkly conversations, nice supporting characters. Started really well. Got a little boring towards the end but in all a good read
