  • What is going on in Pride?

It was good to go back to Pride to see how everyone is doing. Aiden has come back to town to help out while his father is recovering from an accident. He didn't realize how much work his father did in such a small town. What he really didn't expect was how much he would be attracted to Suzie. She has always seemed like the little girl with pigtails and braces. Now she is a beautiful woman and he is having a hard time resisting her. Suzie came back home to open a flower shop. That is her dream. Aiden has always been her dream, but he isn't sticking around. When Suzie is hurt in several attacks, Aiden knows he would do anything to protect her. His dad's accident might not have been an accident. What is going on in Pride?

  • Because of Pride, Oregon

I read my first Pride Oregon novel in a free anthology that came out a couple of weeks ago and I was hooked. Since then I have read all of the Pride books and all the Pride Oregon books released to date. It has been wonderful seeing the first generation fall in love and marry and then see the next generation do the same, especially seeing the children as babies and toddlers and then as adults in their own right, with the next generation being born. I'm really pleased that Aidan has his HEA with Suzie and we got to see Matt and Blake's happy event. How clever of Aidan to spot the gender clue! I'm glad that Pride is a fictitious town after seeing the images of fire-ravaged towns in Oregon. I thought our recent bushfires here in Australia from September to January (2019-2020) were extreme and while we had loss of life and of property I think the west coast wildfires have been worse. But if the people of the fictitious Pride are an indication of the people of Oregon, then I know they will bounce back, supporting each other just as the people of Pride do. I can't wait for the next book in the series to find out who the mysterious "Boss" is and to solve (hopefully) the cause of Robert's problem.

  • Because of Love

I’ve read all of Jill’s Pride series and this one is as good as all the rest. They just keep getting better. Her other series are equally delicious. Please read this one....I think you’ll really love it.
