  • Great back stories

Loved the character development that back stories provide their voices are very strong. So thrilled Australia had a mention oldest still practiced religion on the planet the Dreaming.

  • Atticus, Oberon and gang return

Thoroughly enjoyed this short story collection and catching up with Owen and his apprentices. As an Australian, I particularly liked the stories regarding Tasmania. I only wished Gaia had asked Atticus for assistance before the Tasmanian Tiger went extinct in the 1930s. The cancer affecting Tasmanian Devils is real and there is a lot of research and assistance in trying to find a cure. We really need a few druids.

  • Fantastical deep mysteries

Kevin Hearne has written an awesome collection of novellas that could slide right into any of the iron druid novels at the appropriate moment. There's so much scope possible within 2000 years of druidic survival & I feel privileged to delve into such fantastical nuggets!
