    Another favourite author.

This is the first Garry Disher story I've read. Loved it. So of course, I'm going to read more. Really like the main character Hirsch and hope there are more stories featuring him.

Could not put this book down. Strong characters and plot. Keeps you guessing until the end. If you like suspense or thrillers you will like this book.

    Great novel by aussie author,

This is a great read. The story has a good flow to it. It has good twists in the storyline, Kept my interest all the way through. I will look out for other Gsrry Disher novels.

    Bitter Wash Road

A real pleasure to read with a winning formula of flawed protagonist, intriguing plot, vibrantly portrayed sense of place and truly excellent writing. Tom Keneally wrote that the irony is the life blood of great writing and this work has it in spades. In my view Disher is up there in the Pantheon of masterful crime writers with Martin Cruz Smith, Peter Temple and dare I say Raymond Chandler.
