  • Action-packed ride!

Blind Spot is the third book in the Chesapeake Valor series by Dani Pettrey. Although it can be read as a stand alone novel, I would definitely recommend reading Cold Shot and Still Life first. This is because one of the things I have come to expect and appreciate from a Dani Pettrey novel are her interwoven characters with complex relationships. If you start with Blind Spot, you'll miss out on some of the characters histories. When you start Blind Spot, make sure you have some time to read because it is an action-packed ride from beginning to end. What keeps the reader intrigued is the fact that there are two plots going on throughout the story that involve solving a murder and trying to stop a terrorist plot. Declan, an FBI agent, and Tanner, a crisis counselor, are in the race of their lives trying to squelch this terrorist plot. As you would expect from any great romantic suspense novel, the reader stays on the edge of her seat turning the pages with motorcycle chases and bullets flying while also enjoying just the right amount of romance and the reader gets to see the relationship developing between Declan and Tanner. Blind Spot ends with quite a cliffhanger! Book 4 can't come quickly enough! I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

  • So Good!

Blind Spot will grip you right at the beginning and keep you turning pages to find out what happens next. So much intrigue and suspense. Plenty of twists and turns. FBI agent Declan is searching for an unknown terrorist threat that could be deadly for thousands. Time is running out. He seeks out the help of FBI crisis counselor Tanner Shaw. Their interaction is an added bonus of romance in the story. Will the Sparks continue or fizzle out? This was definitely a nail bitter for me! I now need a manicure!! The spiritual aspect was portrayed very well. Nothing is more attractive than a well built manly man who prays and seeks God's guidance in his daily life. And the cover....what a good looking one! Although this is part of a series it can be read as a standalone. But why would you want to pass up the superior writing and intrigue shown in the first two? I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher but was not required to write a review. All opinions are strictly my own.

    Thanks for your feedback!
