  • Heart-Wrenching

The language choice in this novel is perfect. Simple language as Natacha is a child and sophistication as she grows and matures. The story she tells is horrific, and I can only wish her and her loved ones all the best in their recovery. I believe this story needs to be read by all to understand how these practices grow and what we can do to help protect those innocents forced into a life that harms them.

  • A harrowing tale

Vivid description and imagery brings this larger than life story to life. It will make you think for days, long after you've finished reading and rooting for Nachsa's happy ending.

  • Children of God

I read the book she wrote with her sisters. This is far more informative. Horrible to think that this sort of thing still goes on. Very well written.

  • Good read

Good book. Fascinating the level of mind control over so many people. This is not a topic I would normally download, but glad I did. Interesting & insightful.

  • Dark but good

I had a basic knowledge of the Children of God before I read this book, but reading it really opened my eyes. It’s a very sad, interesting story and I feel for her and all of the young children who had to grow up this cult. It’s sometimes hard to read but worth it to see how she grew up and overcame her obstacles.

    Thanks for your feedback!
