  • Book 1

Although this a new author to me, I have quickly fallen for her wring. I read Bound By Silence first and I didn’t think I’d want to read Sierra and Reed’s book, but I’m so glad I did. I enjoyed this book even more than Keira’s. When it’s revealed how Sierra and Reed are connected, I thought for sure that would be the end, but no, we get more. If you want to know what Sierra has had to endure and find out who her stalker is, I highly recommend this book to you. I’m looking forward to reading more books from this author. I received a complimentary copy of this book and this is my voluntary and honest review.

  • A mixed bag

Minuses: grammatical errors (eg it's damning, not damming); factual errors (eg Hawaii is not further from Adelaide than the Caribbean); overuse of adjectives (especially "long" - long hair, long arms, long legs ... ). I guess the simpering "heroine" nauseating over the "hero" is what I get for not realising this was a romance, not a thriller. On that score though, the book does well: the plot is coherent, the tension builds; the picture you get of Kangaroo Island is well done. I picked it fairly early and maybe that character could have been done a bit differently to draw out the tension, but it works pretty well. That's why it got 3 stars.
