It's a short and easy read. I like these cowboy stories better than the romance paperback ones. The rated R scenes are sweet, and there isn't really any conflict in the (non-existent) plot. There's a scene that almost unfold to a struggle but the fire is quickly diffused within two lines. I had fun reading it, the writing and the story is okay. I enjoyed it because the problem isn't even a problem and there's no heart wrenching, anxiety-inducing part that even when attempted to salvage with a happily ever after, most short stories or novellas don't succeed in doing so. I do love these types of reads - they're sort of like palate cleansers for me in between reading other books (like right now I just finished rereading The Hunger Games, listened to almost 60% of the audiobook of If It Bleeds, and am about to start reading The Bluest Eye). Sometimes I just need an easy, good vibes, no-heavy-plot read that is completely 180⁰ different from the one I'm currently traversing. I like Alexa Riley but some of their stories are angsty. Still enjoyable, though, tbh. So ridiculous they're perfect palate cleansers. I love Jessa Kane the most. Her stories have much more natural flow and doesn't come off as trying hard. It's pure erotica with very little to no plot, like Alexa Riley's, but leaves a huge punch at the PG scenes. A.R. and Jessa Kane have collaborations together and that's where the magic lies. Together, they create something so ridiculous it could almost be considered genius.

    Thanks for your feedback!
