    Inspiring...

I wasn't sure if I'd like this book as I thought it may be one of those books that tells you what you're doing wrong with your life, but actually, I found it highly amusing & very inspiring - although I was disappointed that it wasn't a true story(!) I'm going to look at life a little differently from now on...

This has become one of my favorite books, it reminds me of what is important in this life we live, I have been recommending to family and friends ever since I first read it, and I have now read it 3 times, which says a lot for someone who rarely reads the same book twice. Love it, read it, sit with it

    A very satisfying read

I really liked this book. I never had to push myself to finish it because I enjoyed every chapter. It connects, compares, and contrasts western life and culture with the wisdom of the buddhist tradition. There are many snippets to give one food for thought. The found the writing style really resonated with me. It was insightful without being pretentious. It connects to you on a personal (rather than a scholarly) level. I'm looking forward to reading the sequel (Lunch with Buddha).

Abit slow moving. Message is fuzzy.
