  • Bride of the Alpha

This is the first book in a new to me series, the Timber Valley Pack. It starts with Josephine coming up with an idea to stand in for her friend, courtesy of a shape-changing spell, so that her friend doesn't have to marry someone she's not in love with. The reasons are all there, but you know it just won't work out how she thinks it will. Now, I really enjoyed this book for the majority of the time. If the story had just stayed with the abusive uncle and how the Timber Valley Pack were trying to sort it out, this would have been a 4-star read for sure. However, there was an extra storyline thrown in, just for fits and giggles it seemed. With no build up that stood out for this particular fork in the story, it just felt a bit thrown together. I found that to be a shame as up to that point I was engrossed. Well written, with no editing or grammatical errors to distract the eye, this was a good read that just ended up being a bit too busy for me. Merissa Archaeolibrarian - I Dig Good Books!

  • Won't be winning awards but good reading.

Mostly a bing bang boom story. No real depth. But it is a decent read. Good to read about werewolves

  • Alpha's Bride

I loved this story. Josephine takes the place of her friend at the girls wedding, so the girl can escape her abusive Alpha, who abusers all the females of his pack. But what Josephine doesn't know is that Maxwell is already got a plan in place trying to help that pack escape their abusive Alpha. So it gets interesting when Max and Josephine are keeping secrets from each other, when they both are working different angles to help. Both it all comes down to a Death Match to save not only the abused pack but also Josephine and Maxwell's lives. Thank you
