  • Awesome again

Great short series! Read it from book 1 through book 3. Awesome! Only wish there was more closure on some of the characters! However as you read through some of book 2 and 3 you get some answers. I think maybe there is a book 4 coming? Maybe? Hopefully?

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • Good story

I liked the premise, liked the characters, loved Maddy and Stefan, liked the ending except that it felt rushed. Maybe a postscript would have been nice.

  • A satisfying read

Something different to the author's military books but I decided to check out this trilogy. After all, it's Dale Mayer. Series follows three gals and how they deal with a treatment weekend that will help them deal with past issues that has affected their life. Excellent read.

  • Thought Provoking

I found the stories very well written and thought provoking. I was unable to put them down and read all three over the course of a weekend.

  • Broken but the mending is worth it

Wow! What an intense and thought-provoking anthology. Jenna might be the facilitator but it is the process each couple go through to find the new "them" that takes these stories to another level. High points: 1. Robin's interactions with the boys in the hospital as they share their "war stories" once she realises that hiding cannot allow her to move forward. 2. Paris' meeting with Jenna on the last night where so many secrets and regrets are revealed and the healing begins. After reading ALL of Ms Mayer's military and garden-themed mysteries released to date, I have to say that these three linked stories, while totally different, reveal a very real understanding of the human psyche and the fears that can genuinely prevent people from moving forward in their lives.

    Thanks for your feedback!
