  • Enjoyable series

Broken Illusions continues immediately on from where Shattered Illusions left off. Ashryn and Bram have been captured by vampire hunters and need to out run the hunters to survive and complete the mission that Dimitri set for them at the Hunters Guild. I highly recommend this paranormal reverse harem series and I’m looking forward to the third book in the series - Tarnished Illusions.

  • Better than the first book

Aw yeah the action is finally starting (even if it’s still way too short!)

  • It just gets better

Broken Illusions - Ashryn’s knowledge of the world around her is questioned further in this book. She also learns more about her life now and the people she shares it with. Book 2 is just as entertaining as book 1 with the characters developing further.

  • Loved it

This is the second book in the series and there was so much action and excitement. We got to see a lot of Bram and I loved him and Ashryn together. It was great to see her accepting becoming a vampire and watching her struggle with the realization that the hunters aren't what she thought they were. There were twists and surprises, I can't wait for the next book!

  • Thoroughly Enjoyed !!

Ashryn Barker was a vampire hunter, until something went very wrong and she became the thing she used to hunt. Now she’s running through a forest, on her first mission, with a man who hates her – despite the protective looks Bram keeps giving her since they escaped. With sunrise quickly coming, they don’t have many options. Now being one of the vampires, Ashryn is finding out disturbing things about the Vampire Hunter Guild and seeing things in a new perspective. She is also learning how to get along with her vampire team of Remus, Bram, Eric and Dimitri. I liked the humor in this book that made it a fun, enjoyable read. The characters are well defined and likable, familiar in some cases since this is the second book in the Trilogy. The twists and turns keep things exciting and the reader will love the surprises along the way! Definitely recommended!
