  • A Bully's Remorse Wins The Victim's Heart

Again, I used the promo code for Kobo to read this story. After reading about Noah and Elsa, the story of Kimberley James and Kurt Michaels weighed heavily on me and I needed to know what happened. I wasn't disappointed. Kim didn't have self-worth issues but she was insecure about her capabilities and was stubborn. She didn't realize the effect that bullying about her weight had on her even after more than 10 years had passed. On the other hand, Kurt had realized his mistake in high school that his bullying made him beyond reproach. He not only wants to make amends but falls in love with Kim early on. The length to which Kurt goes to win Kim's heart is sweet. Also, Kim learns a lot about herself and we see her artistic tendencies that have caused her to be withdrawn. The premise was wonderful and it was great to see the other supporting characters along with their updates. I didn't appreciate the vulgarity as much. Again, the language is crass but the steamy scenes are acceptable. There are a few editing issues too. If you want a sweet story about bully to lover saga, then this might be for you, especially since it is a quick read.

    Thanks for your feedback!
