  • Hot Aussie Firefighters!!

I 'm so loving the Hot Aussie Knights. Caleb has been married in the past but now just has a casual relationship with Ava, which suits him just fine. After time he decides he wants more, but Ava has secrets in her life that is preventing her into a long term relationship. When a fire threatens her house and her life, she soon realizes Caleb is the real thing. A great story of hot romance and hot firefighters! It will keep you turning the pages. I thoroughly enjoyed this series, all stand alone books.

  • Firefighter Romance Down Under

Burning Love by Trish Morey Hot Aussie Knights #4 In the final installment of the Hot Aussie Knights series Trish Morey tells us more about twin and firefighter, Caleb Knight. He is a man that has given up on the idea of love that ends in marriage, children and a happy ride into the sunset with one special woman. He has opted, instead, for the friends with benefits idea and for one year has had one person he has gone to for release – Ava Mattiske. As the story begins Caleb has needed to get the thoughts from a bad day at work out of his head so visits Ava and in so doing it puts a glitch in their open, easy, no feelings or strings attached relationship. As both begin to wonder if what they have can continue as it has the fire season is heating up in Adelaide and it surrounding territory. With a background that is disturbing but eked out gradually one can sympathize and understand a bit more the seemingly cold Ava but it is not easy to see Caleb wanting and giving and her not reciprocating. Whether or not the two can have a HEA is going to require putting some demons to bed for both Caleb and Ava and how they manage to do so is not easy. The ending brings all four of the couples together for a fire fighters’ convention and wedding – great way to tie up the loose ends of the series so thank you very much for that. I liked this book and felt it was interesting in that it was quite a bit different than the other books preceding it. Ava is not amnesic or an old flame from the past or a one night stand that became more. No, she is a damaged but strong woman that has risen from the ashes but who has scars that she still needs to deal with. And, Caleb is a man that is family oriented, knows what he wants, giving, kind and patient. I wished that Ava had been more open and giving BUT understood why she was not. I wished, at times, that Caleb could have found someone easier as his mate BUT began to understand why he chose Ava…though another woman might have been easier. Ah well…good book in a fun series and… I would like to thank NetGalley and Tule Publishing for the ARC – This is my honest review. 3.5 Stars

  • An Enjoyable Story

I enjoyed Burning Love by Trish Morey, book four in The Hot Aussie Knights series. Caleb Knight is a fire fighter in Adelaide, Australia, part of the fire-fighting royalty, following in his grandfather’s footsteps. After an unhappy marriage and divorce, Caleb swore off love and marriage finding what he needs in Ava Mattiske’s scorching bed. After a year, Caleb finds he cares more for her and wants more permanent relationship. Ava is a talented artist whose ability to trust was destroyed long ago. She decides it’s time to end the friendship as she could not do long-term. Ava has secrets in her past that she doesn’t want Caleb, or anyone, to know about. Yet, those secrets have trapped her into having a loveless and unhappy life. It takes a bushfire threatening her home and studio and Caleb presence to help on order for Ava to realize how she has allowed her past to rule her future. This was an enjoyable book. Caleb was easy to like, but I struggled with Ava until she shared her secret. She was much easier to understand then. Ms. Morey is a great story teller and I had trouble putting this book down, reading it in one day. I definitely recommend this book to other readers. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

  • Burning Love

Burning Love (Hot Aussie Knights Book 4) by Trish Morey This is Artist Ava Mattiske and Caleb Knight’s story. A year ago Caleb and Ava agreed to a secret fling without any expectations. At the time Caleb and Ava were not looking for a commitment but now Caleb has changed his mind. Will he be able to convince Ava to give them a chance at lasting love? Also, Ava is very secretive about her past. Will she reveal her secrets or will these secrets keep them from find true love? I really liked Caleb and Ava's characters. They had chemistry that was red-hot but is it enough for a lasting relationship? A very enjoyable and sexy story with lots of secrets and a few twists. FYI, contains mature content. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
