  • Loved it!

I do enjoy a good biography and Alannah did not disappoint. I found it to be an emotional story but also entertaining, I laughed, I cried and I was inspired by Alannah's energy and attitude to life.

  • Who knew...a great local tale about the beginnings of an iconic label!

A marvelous tale written in an engaging writing style that is more akin to that of a well written novel. The book takes you into the author's developmentally traumatic world where the optimism and uncorrupted spirit of youth carries the day. Too long though sadly. The book should have ended before the genesis of the journey becomes ordinary and commonplace and reading about it becomes laborious.

    Thanks for your feedback!
