A great second instalment in the Blue Justice series! Any book by Lynette Eason is always entertaining and this one certainly didn't disappoint. Chloe and her police canine companion Hank help investigate a girl who has gone missing into the human trafficking ring. I found this book full of action and hard to put down. I actually read the last 50% in one sitting as I couldn't wait to see how things panned out. There were twists and turns, as well as a love story to follow. I actually enjoyed this book even more that the first Blue Justice book. Thank you to the publishers for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I am more than happy to recommend this book.

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • Suspenseful

If you read the first book in the Blue Justice series, you were probably as excited as I was to get my hands on this one. Eason has a way of drawing me in, and holding me captive until the very last page. I try to tell myself not to read the teaser for the next book, a.k.a. the torturer, but I can’t seem to obey. So here I am yet again anxiously awaiting the next Blue Justice book. This series follows the St. John family as they fight for justice and watch out for each other. Called to Protect focuses on Chloe and her amazing dog Hank. Working as a team they are unstoppable, too bad they can’t be everywhere at once. When a case hits close to home they will do everything in their power to find those responsible. Blake doesn’t know if life will ever get back to normal. Having a teenager is never easy, but he would take that any day over worrying if he can find his daughter before it’s too late. Someone is taking young girls and Blake will stop at nothing to put an end to this nightmare. Knowing he can’t do it alone, his best friend creates a task force of experts in all different areas, which luckily happens to include Chloe and Hank. Will the team be enough to rescue the newest batch of missing girls? This book was so unique. Having human trafficking be such a huge part of the story was hard sometimes. Having two girls of my own, it hit close to home. I loved reading about the bravery these girls displayed in the face of what would have been terrifying. Eason transported me there and had me biting my nails several times. I enjoyed getting to know Chloe and Blake more, and can’t wait to see everyone again. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Suspense. I had the hardest time putting this book down, and know you will as well. I was kept on the edge of my seat having no clue what could possibly happen next. I received a copy of this book from Revell Publishers and was in no way forced to post a review. All opinions expressed are my own.

  • Great writer

I always have a hard time putting her books down. Lots of action and personal Christian prayers and some romance.

  • 'CALLED TO PROTECT'

This was a very good book and i just couldnt put it down. I absoloutely recomend this book espcially if yu are a big fan if fast pacedexciting and somewhat scary (especially in bed at night) novels. This specifc book is about human trafficking, drugs, and death. And although there are many times of crime scenes and gun fights, this book also has scenes of family togethef and good times. I love this authr and totally recommend this book!!! i hope my review has been helpful and if so please click the 'helpful?' sign at the bottom of the screen. Hope you enjoy this novel as much as i did!! (BTW seriously thinking about joining the police force when i'm old enough. These books have inspired me.

    Thanks for your feedback!
