  • Interesting read

This was an interesting read, with intriguing facts about Afghanistan. Not one of Michener's best though.

  • Caravans

A wonderful accounting of 1946 Afghanistan. Mark Miller journeys through desert and mountains to find an American who is missing and hasn't contacted her parents in over 18 months. His journey takes him on adventures through a strange and exciting land of beauty, scorching heat and ancient ruins. Thank you James Michener for this wonderful story.

  • Caravans

Fantastic author. James Michener educates through his brilliant story telling. Caravan has, to me, opened up my mind to the complexities of Afghanistan, its people and the need to put a halt to the power of religious fanatics. Read, learn and enjoy!
