    Enjoyable read

I really enjoyed this book by Anna Campbell. She touched on many of the trials and emotions that would torment a man and affect his family after being imprisoned and tortured for 5 years. It's the first book I've read of this author and it won't be the last. Very well written, now I definitely have to read the rest in the Dashing Widows series!

One of my favorites from Anna Campbell!

Catching Captain Nash is number 6 in the Dashing Widows series by Anna Campbell. This series originally was of three young widows just out of mourning who decide to have some fun... fortunately for those of us who have loved this series, Anna Campbell decided to continue on with three more widows and a jilted suitor from one of the previous books. Captain Robert Nash was assumed dead after being lost at sea. For five long years his family mourned his loss. So when he walks into his brother’s house on the eve of his wife’s engagement party to another man, everyone is stunned but thrilled…. Morwenna Nash mourned the loss of her beloved husband for five long years. She was more than content to raise her daughter and live on her memories. Her friends convince her to reenter society and she finally starts to take steps to move on with her life. Although she agrees to accept Hugh Rutherford, Lord Garson’s proposal it was made clear to him she stilled loved her husband…. I absolutely loved Robert and Morwenna! Their story ranks up there at the top of one of my favorites of Anna Campbell. Robert and Morwenna had a happy but short marriage. When Robert returns on the eve of Morwenna’s engagement to another man, she is literally in shock and the tension between them is evident. I loved how Anna didn’t allow that tension to create a barrier between them. Instead Robert relied on Morwenna to adjust back to a life that he has been absent from for so long. Their reunion and the steps to find their way back to each other and to a HEA were a very emotionally charged and beautifully written story! I highly recommend this series and Catching Captain Nash goes on my to reread pile for the future!

    Lovely sentimental story

A poignant story about loss and redemption. Was expecting more of a plot, but in hindsight it didn't diminish the pleasure of reading it.
