  • Possibly more enjoyable than the 1st

Secrets, intrigue, who to love, who to hate? There is an imminent sense of doom for Katniss right from the beginning of Catching Fire. I found the start a bit slow, in fact I put it down and left it for a month two chapters in, but I picked it up again 2 nights ago and have had to force myself to stop reading each night! Suzanne Collins has given us a range of multidimensional characters to care about (and to make us upset when some of them meet grisly ends) and a plot with some nice complications and twists. She certainly knows how to write a cliff hanger ending! A really great sequel to the Hunger Games.

  • The Hunger Games: CatchingFire

I thought this book was really good because I understood it better than the movie e.g Finnick, Prim, Johanna, Beete, Wiress and Mrs Everdeen made a lot more sense than the book. Keep up the good work Suzanne.

  • Catching fire

The second book in the hunger games trilogy and it is amazing. The story of Katniss Everdeen in an incredible book with well developed characters and a thrilling story. Anyone who liked the first book wil enjoy this. Even though I loved this book I still believe the first one was better.

  • Catching Fire

It takes a while for the plot to become clear and the story to fully develop. But by the time of the third section, you are kept guessing, not knowing for sure how the allegiances will last. Without spoiling the end, you are left in know doubt the story is not over . . . So it is off to book 3 happy reading

  • Super good!

This is my favourite part from the trilogy. I love the book but I find the movie better. It's so interesting and inruiguing with new twists and characters to meet. I also just love the idea of the Hunger Games and in my opinion, this one was better than the first. Recommend to people aged 8-9 and over. Hope you enjoy the movie/book as much as I did! Booknerd
