    A Wonderful , worthable read

Chances at Love a beautiful heartfelt story of love...Well written, with adorable characters, this book is a good read.there is Romance, a bit of suspense, intrigue ,action ...the plot is well developed & fast paced so u r in sync with d story as it moves forward... The author has once again done a good job ...didnt disappoint ...has presented us with a historical romance with a little different aspect.. the story is about Lorna a recently widowed mother of a young son who forms a marriage of convenience and protection with an old and trusted friend Hamilton ( Viscount Voss )... Lorna"s character is very strong, level headed , intelligent, smart & unconventional in Regency era...she has d strength to not submit herself tod wrong conventions imposed on women & has become a independent women... The character of Hamilton has been well balanced & gells well with lorna's aspirations ,feelings ...The hero is quite emotionally aware, incredibly human and likeable which is nice for this genre.. Tess has once again surpassed herself & given her readers a very captivating book .. her style of writing & presenting a story as always is simple & fullof lifelike characters... I received an ARC in exchange for my honest, unbiased review

A portrayal of family love and romance

Beautifully written and warm-hearted, this Regency romance had me engrossed throughout. Not knowing any better, Lady Lorna accepted the relationship she had with her husband not realising that there was something far more than the raw deal she was handed when she married the Earl of Keys. Having grown up with Hamilton as part of her family, when news of her husband's death reaches her, it's Hamilton that her household call to come and salvage the state of despair she spirals into. Losing her husband is just the beginning of Lorna's problems as family starts to put pressure on her to marry again and the political shift in the country gathers momentum. When the tension increases Lorna comes to the conclusion that there is only one choice and that is to marry again and there is only one man to fulfill that role, namely Hamilton. As this novel is the culmination of the series, treads of the lives of other characters are woven into the plot like a tapestry, making it a rich and interesting portrayal of friends and family who care for and protect one another. This standalone story comes to a grand conclusion as I reluctantly closed the book. I received a copy of this novel as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.

    Wonderful Love Story!

A Heartwarming story of love and forgiveness. Hamilton and Lorna had been friends for years and neither of them thought they would ever be more than that. When circumstances bring them together, uncertainties from the past keep coming back to haunt them. This was a wonderful story and I would recommend it to all lovers of the Historical Romance. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
