  • Chance Encounter

A book that will hold your interest as the story unwinds from a couple that cannot be together, to a couple that don't realize they want to be together, to a couple that cannot be apart!! If that is not enough there are two individual couples that haven't worked out what they want. Chance Encounter or chances of an encounter - you decide.!!

  • When friends become something more

Friends first, Liam is amazed to find Miss Jean Green in his arms delivering a kiss that astounds him. Committed to remaining a bachelor, he is nevertheless appalled when he discovers just who Jean had planned on meeting in the dark room. This well written Regency romance encompasses all the longing and intrigue one could wish for as Liam offers Jean a way in which to bring about her dreams of marriage to the man she has longed for. Neither Jean nor Liam anticipated they would enjoy each other's company to the extent that they did and as friendship blossoms into love, they discover that all is not well with the world as not everyone is happy with their decision. I loved Liam's caring and protective nature, even as he recognised that Jean was quite capable of making her own choices. Wanting her to have the right to make a choice, he is willing to stand back and wait for her to realise just how precious their relationship is. Jean is a warm-hearted caring woman, but seeing Liam in a different light surprises her. There is a secondary romance interwoven in this story that is also sweet and charming, making one realise that family is not just about blood relatives, but those who have added richness to our lives. Characters from previous books appear in this one too, making it something of a family reunion for the reader, but it is nevertheless a standalone and comes to a happy conclusion. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
