  • GREAT READ!!

CITY OF BONES: An Ava Gold Mystery (Book 3), In the rough streets of 1920s New York City, 34-year-old Ava Gold, the first female homicide detective in her NYPD precinct. Ava faces resentment and opposition from her all-male police force, as a result, she is transferred to a Brooklyn precinct to investigate the murder of a young woman journalist. To find the killer her investigation leads her into the streets and docks of “Roaring 20’s” Brooklyn. Another Ava Gold roller coaster thriller, a real page-turner, that will keep you reading late into the night!!

  • Ava Proves Herself Again

Ava continues to battle the male dominated precinct and prove herself more than capable of being a good detective. In this Book 3, Ava has been sent to the Brooklyn Station to work on the murder of a journalist. In the process of finding the murderer, Ava uncovers corruption and mob ties in a precinct that’s supposed to protect and serve, not turn a blind eye. Set in the roaring 20s, the reader is painted a picture of the wharf and the streets of New York City during a time when women were meant to stay home. An enjoyable continuation of this series. **I received this book in exchange for an honest review. **

  • Simply great!

Ava is on her own on the tough city streets of New York City, but she won’t let that stop her from solving the murder of a young female reporter. Ava gets the job done and continues to make a name for herself, which also seems to be moving her closer to personal danger.
