  • The Companions- Peter Darman

Excellent book but best to read all of the Parthian series in order. All of the characters in this book have been introduced in the previous volumes and you can then follow their escapades in order. Recommended

  • Superb read!

A cracking stand alone read but also as a follow on from the authors' Parthian series. Well worth reading.....

  • Companions

The third book in a really enjoyable historical series. Two more to go which I hope I enjoy as much. Places and battles really existed and make good reading on Google.

  • The Memories of Pacorus

Another fine read in the series of The Parthian. We revisit some old friends as they go in search of a man thought dead and left behind. Pacorus, stubborn and with his sense of righteousness offended, does things the hard way and gets away with it - just. Well-researched and written, I could almost smell the dust and blood. I recommend this to anyone who enjoyed the original books.
