  • Wacky Wild West Fun!

I bought this book as part of a series by Reece Butler. I loved the first book in this series...Barefoot Bride for Three Bride Train Series Book 1. And I was very surprised when it exceeded my initial expectations. Usually when a series starts out strong it has a hard time keeping that momentum. Ms Butler exceeded it an went further! Her story has us meeting Jessamine...or Jessie as she is known in Tanners Ford, Montana. Coming home after 2 years in a Ladies College in Virginia. A requirement for her to inherit her legacy. She suffers through the years knowing what she wants to do with her an equal partner with her brothers in the Bitterroot Ranch. Her brother Ranger has other ideas about that. He sends her disguised as a boy to work as a cowhand on a neighboring ranch for a few weeks to prove she can do it and to help out the 3 city slickers from London who own the Double Diamond Ranch, that Kenrick "Ace" Langford won in a poker game from the bad guy villain Smythe. When Ace starts having "feelings" for the boy Jessie he pulls away. But when he discovers what his two partners Charles "Sin" Latham and Henry Bennett already know...that the boy Jessie is really a woman all ripe and ready...He decides pay backs are grand! And that "Miss Jessimine Bonham Elliot" Would be a perfect wife for the three of them! Ms. Butler's characters are full and well rounded. And the chemistry between them and all the other back characters gives the illusion that the world of Tanner's Ford, Montana is a real place with real people to love and live with. All in all I would give this wonderful book 4.75 Stars. I highly recommend this and the other books in The Bride Train Series as a must read for everyone with a love of the Wild West, Hot Cowboys, Strong Minded Heroines, and HEA Romances!

    Thanks for your feedback!
