    Hard to put down

Having exhausted all books on Rome, I reluctantly decided to read about the Mongols. My reluctance disappeared after the first couple of chapters and I found it very hard to put the books down. A great read and well written.

Amazing insight into history, well worth the read!

I started reading War of The Roses and thought it was brilliant. Tracking this author I picked up Conqueror. Well written and definitely a page turner. You can totally put yourself in the timeframe and gives a better understanding of this point in history but so well written reads like a fantasy novel.

    Beautifully Written...Battle scenes ar Epic!

I first picked up the second book in this series not realizing it was a series. The book immediately hooked me in, and I wasn't an avid reader at this point. Conn Iggulden has an awesome way of turning history into an intriguing story. I would recommend any of Conn Iggulden's work to people interested in history or just great story telling. I finished this entire series and it inspired me to pick up his Emperor series as well. His writing makes you interested in the history of his stories and provokes that intrigue to go beyond the story and research the facts yourself.
