    Annoying characters

I didn’t enjoy the book or feel empathy with its protagonists who annoyed me as vapid and self obsessed.

    Disappointing

Very fluid and pleasant literary style but the characters fail after a while, being somehow too selfish and self-absorbed. As a reader I didnt care about their petty problems anymore and really felt like shutting the book to stop the constant sort of whining. They seemed toxic. I was disappointed because I had loved «normal people» by the same author.

Ben scritto, attuale e non banale!

È la storia di una intera generazione da un punto di vista attuale e mai banale

    Fascinating study

Intruiging examination of power, ethics and morality in relationships. The narrator is very perceptive and intelligent, yet struggles to reconcile her opinions with her feelings and therefore her actions. How hard it is, to live honestly and with kindness!

    Book review

Oddly hypnotic tale of student life in Dublin literary circles. No action but the characters draw it together.
