  • Dark of the Moon

Great start to what will be, I've no doubt, a great series. Strong lead character, with great back up characters, a good, fast moving storyline with plenty of twists and turns right up to the last page, literally, kept the pages turning and this very difficult to put down. A highly recommended read.

  • Dark of the Moon

As always John Sandford has done it again, great series. Have read most of his books to date and not been disappointed once. Fast paced thrillers that have it all. Highly recommend

  • Decent Story But Needed Tighter Editing

Overall a good plot and a likeable protagonist, but let down somewhat by too many characters and their intricate family/marital relationships to keep in one's mind. Also the ending was a little too drawn out, considering the plot's denouement should've occurred 25 pages earlier.

  • Dark of the Moon

Another excellent Virgil Flowers story from John Sandford. As always twists and turns one could not predict. Also humour that makes the story and the characters seem real. No one is perfect and Sandford’s people have successes and failures like everyone can and endears them to the reader. Always a pleasure to read a Sandford story.
