  • Dark side of the moon

Another instalment of the Dark Hunter series, this time centering around Ravyn (a were-hunter who has been austrisized by his family from past deeds) and Susan (a reporter who has previously had her career ruined because of bad information). Gemma rescues Rayvn from an animal shelter (you need to read it to find out why he was there) and is immersed into the Squire/Dark Hunter world. Here we find out that Dark Hunters are being killed by the Diamons and no one knows why. This book is full of twists and turns and maybe reading previous books will help you to understand the relationship between all of the characters that pop up, including: Stryker, Ash, Nick and Savitar to name but a few and all of their stories pull you into different directions, so much so that you just need to know there is going to be a book about every single character you come across, good or bad! Ravyn and Susan have a unique relationship. Susan is so witty and sharp when it comes to retorts. She handles the whole transition from normal human to Squire quite well and her joking aside, she is a really strong character. She stands up for Ravyn when he needs it with his family and stands by him to fight when trouble comes calling. Ravyn is the brooding hero, who doesn’t think he is one. Since he made a mistake earlier on in his life (and has paid the price for it), he is reluctant to trust again, but finds that Susan just gets under his skin. He is the ideal book boyfriend: tall, dark and handsome with intelligence to boot. There is a lot of intrigue, romance, passion, action and emotions in this book which will keep you reading it until you run out of pages and want to go and grab the next book! I just can’t wait!
