  • Perfect tide-me-over until the demon slayer novel!

Book 7.5 in Fox's popular Demon Slayer series, Date With a Demon Slayer is a nice quick read while anxiously awaiting the author's next full length novel in this series. Fox packs these stories with the right mix of mystery, action, adventure, romance, humor, and a fun paranormal flavor to keep the reader engaged, whether it's a full length, or a novella length piece, like this. All of the favorites are here, Lizzie, her hot, hunky shape shifting husband, Dmitri, her talking terrier, Pirate, and, her grandmother and her gang of elderly, outlaw biker witches. This short story has Lizzie and Dmitri trying to celebrate their 1st anniversary, but of course, nothing goes as planned. With Pirate along for the fun, the newly weds' romantic dinner quickly goes in some very unexpected directions. Perfect length for slipping into a bubbly tub and having a relaxing soak, with a great book! One note: although the story certainly could stand on its own without having read any other books in the series, I feel I enjoyed it much more because I'm familiar with the backstory. Purchase this novella with confidence that you'll get a fun, funny, enjoyable, and well written read!

  • Short but Great!

I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review. I don't normally like reading novellas since they tend to feel like you are reading an almost entirely different series, but this was great! It felt like the author wrote it at the same time as the Night of the Living Demon Slayer and just couldn't keep this in since it would have been way too long. As usual Angie Fox's humor and wit made for a great book. This story is short, but it's filled with the biker witches antics, Lizzie and Dimitri trying to celebrate their first anniversary and of course Pirate being his adorable self.

  • Fast and Fabulous

Date With A Demon Slayer by Angie Fox Book 7.5 of the series. Lizzie and Dimitri have another exciting if not scary experience. While celebrating their first wedding anniversary, they run into a very evil ghost. After being sent to another dimension, it is Pirate and the love of a ghost for Pirate that helps save the day. A story that was too short. We are ever wanting more. I have been enjoying the Demon Slayer books. I received a copy of this book form the author.

  • Great, quick read!

**I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.** -------------------- It's Lizzie & Dimitri's first anniversary, and they have a quiet dinner for two planned... the universe has other plans for them! My only complaint? It's too short! lol Love Lizzie and crew, and more is always better!

  • A nice quiet evening. Yeah, right.

A nice, quiet, romantic evening. Is that too much to ask for? Apparently it is. Romance happens wherever Lizzie and Dimitri are, but nice and quiet? Not so much. A frightened (?) ghost, an evil spirit and a spooky graveyard are the setting for this fast-paced romp. This one, I really liked. Characters are well thought-out and the story is engaging.
