    History

I love a well told historically correct story; this is how it should be taught at scools!

    Excellent period mystery

I love a well constructed mystery and that's exactly what this is and with a history lesson along the way. The Elizabethan period is such a rich part of history and this story captures some of that richness and draws you back into that world and introduces you to some colourful characters. I loved it!

    Surprisingly good

I got this as a free e-book and was very pleasantly surprised by it. The historical crime fiction reminds me of Ellis Peters 'brother Cadfael' although it's clearly set in a different era. I'll certainly read the other books in this serial and start the first book tonight (as this was actually nr 2)

    A good, light read

Fairly well crafted book. Somewhat reminiscent of Brother Cadfael by Ellis Peters. Enticing enlightening to check out the others in the series.
