  • Good light holiday read

Actually thought the author was Australian as her use of language and setting was spot on. I enjoyed getting to know the main characters and the actual mystery was solved satisfactorily. Ready to download the next instalment 😃

  • Death Down Under

A fun mystery to read (not that murder is fun of course). I enjoyed the quirky characters and humerous aspects of this story. I wasn't expecting what happened at the end, but I won't give any spoilers. Overall an enjoyable light read that was easy to follow.

  • A cozy place but not exciting

Ruby Bay must be a cozy place to live in. But judging by the killings that are going on there nothing exciting ever happens in Ruby Bay. The mystery is bland, even the love affair lacks any surprise, no passion there. Still, Miki must be a handful, maybe the next one in the series is really worth reading (I doubt it, though). Still, it’s not the worst five hours of your life to read this book, on a suitably long flight, or a dull airport, or I wouldn’t have taken the trouble of writing this review.😉

    Thanks for your feedback!
