    Short and sweet

What was in the letter? Why do southern African dragons have Dutch names? Has Mrs Knight Timmons become (even) more provocative? A brief taste of richly flavoured adventure ends all too quickly.

    Excellent!

urban-fantasy, paranormal, historical-fiction, were-folk, ghosts, sly-humor, Africa, Kenya Another marvelous book by one of my favorite authors, one that stretches my imagination in very good ways. Meet the African god of death, a ginormous spider who can spin a silk rope to reach the Sky, the god of lightning, Bea's flying horse, and lots more fascinating characters, all set in Victorian Nairobi. Great fun with a side order of education, it seems like each new book is my favorite until the next one arrives! As for the plot, the publisher's blurb gives hints and there is no need for spoilers here. Enjoy!

    WONDERFUL

Evocative, funny, scary and sad, it bought tears of both laughter and sadness to my eyes. Ms Ehsani gets better with each and every book; her craft has improved while her art has gained a more flowing prose. One star off only because the story was just too short!
