    Highly Recommend

I enjoyed this book. Detective Chief Inspector St. Just is a good character. I'm looking forward to reading the next book. I didn't know this author until I started reading another series with a different character, Max Tudor.

    Old story retold

This is a poor copy of an Agatha Christie country Manor House mystery and rather disappointing for me. None of the characters are clearly drawn and most are unpleasant people. Even the DCI and his assistant do not inspire interest.

    Death of a Cozy Writer

Fairly obvious whodunnit but a good, light read.Doesn't require much brain power to work out who the muderer/ess is .....from about a third of the way in.

    Good Debut

When a best selling mystery writer invites his children to his English manor, murder makes an appearance. I enjoyed the good, but I really felt like the main character was a bit too cardboard. The other characters certainly made up for it.

Fun but a bit 2 dimensional

This book was reasonably entertaining but not compelling. I never felt that the characters were real in any way so it was hard to feel absorbed.
