  • Fun read

As always this was a fun read. It sets up the next novel, but it also answers some questions about the characters personal lives.

  • Devices. Rigntlh Shining

I loved now this bridges the gap between the last book and the next. I am sure it will make some things more understandable as I read it.

  • Devices Brightly Shining

Shelley Adina's Steampunk series are the first have ever read and I am enjoying them in order. Great to have women who are so intelligent, strong and friends. Bought the rest in this series and can't wait to read them!

  • Etiquette is hard, when you have your own ideas.

Love the crossing over between the Etiquette of the times, while the women in the story create their own destinies, which may not correspond to the accepted for behaviour of well breed ladies in Victories time. Though these spirited women are not ordinary, they follow their intuitions to help others, with the devices they have required and developed as magnificent devices. Alice in this book is still learning about etiquette that dictates how a lady should behavior, while trying to retain her free spirited personality, never minding the dangers of the times.
