  • Rescuing the Dragon

Julie has gone to the Westbridge Forest on a camping trip, a time to get over her breakup with her cheating boyfriend, Andrew, and to find some peace and relaxation in the outdoors. There is some howling in the distance – wolves? But she crawls into her tent and reads by flashlight until she falls asleep. In the morning, she continues her hiking, enjoying the flowers, the sounds, the creeks. Just to have a destination, she looks for a place called Stone Tower, one of those local urban legends she has heard and wondered about. So she’ll check to see if it really exists. Actually, there are supposed to be a half dozen of these towers, but no one knows where they came from. The next night she hears two women laughing. Figuring she should let them know she is there but won’t bother them, she looks for their camp. The women, Nicole and Bernie, are unfortunately employees of the Lucky facility whose purpose is to capture and experiment on shifters. These two are hunting dragons and have no problem with harming her as well. Lawrence had been watching Julie to see if she was in trouble. Cameron had met Peggy in that spot, so he was paying attention. He saw her approach the women and accept a drink, which probably wasn’t a good idea. One of them put something in it, but Julie tripped and spilled her drink, then said she had enough. Nicole and Bernie argued and Nicole pulled out a weapon and shot Bernie – then she went after Julie who had returned to her own campsite. Lawrence knew he had to get there first and protect her! Nicole caught up to Julie and held a gun on her while she told her she was a scientist and needed Julie to take Bernie’s place – as bait to catch a dragon! Julie started to tell her dragons were not real when one flew down and landed behind Nicole. However, Nicole calmly turned around and told him she wondered when he would turn up! She pulls out some sort of gun and Julie jumps on her back and knocks her down – but it’s too late and the dragon is shot with a dart. He turns human and won’t be able to shift – he can hardly move at all and can’t easily talk. Julie ties Nicole up and tries to help the man by at least pulling the dart from him in case it continues pumping toxin into him. She searches Nicole’s pockets and finds what she thinks may be an antidote to the toxin that has paralyzed him. Should she inject him, not knowing for sure if it will work? If it doesn’t, what will she do with a tied up psycho woman and a paralyzed shifter? Where would she go from here? Who could she call for help? This is a good series. Julie was a strong, feisty woman who didn’t let the Lucky employees intimidate her. She stood up for herself and for the dragon she was trying to save. How will she get him back to his people? Grab your copy and see what Julie decides to do to get out of the mess she is dealing with!

  • ONE HIGH OCTANE ADVENTURE!!!

Explosive! Sophie blazes a new trail mixing it up and nailing it down with 100% on point realism, that hooks you from the start and reels you in for the duration. Pushing boundaries, revving up the scenario's launching this baby into the eye of the storm, breaking it down, throwing it into a tailspin with staggering impacts. Add tension, dramatics, and unforseen events, you have one electrifying treat that fuse this baby together piece by piece. Show stopping drama, distress, intrigue, danger and suspense spirals keeping you riveted on a razors edge. A spinning eddy, kicking up a churning vortex chocked-full of inadvertent contingencies catapulting this jewel to life beautifully. Jumping hoops, hurdling the trials and tribulations with sharp twists, clean turns and thin lines propels this baby forward sleek, shiny and tight. The chemistry sizzles from the pages and suck you in so deeply until you feel the heat and electricity thrumming through your veins. The characters are authentic and realistic with personalities and depth that blew this baby wide open and exposed in all it's glory. The scenes are so colorfully described it gives the illusion you were right there in the middle of ground zero with them. Remarkable job Sophie, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.
