  • Dragon's Web

The time has come for dragon shifter, Cayden Reinhardt to claim his female but Nyna’s old lover returns and he may catch more with his magical web than he bargained for in this enthralling paranormal romance. Kara inadvertently witnessed a murder and disappeared and Nyna is stuck in a web of lies and not sure who to trust and the reader can’t help but get caught in the web that this story weaves as Cayden, Nyna and Kara strive to find the truth and change their lives forever. The chemistry between the characters sizzles from every page but the relationship is hindered by a few too many secrets and the danger that is stalking them which causes quite a bit of spine tingling tension to build throughout the story as these strong captivating characters ensnare readers with the well written fast paced, smooth flowing plot full of suspense, excitement and romance. I was completely taken in by these captivating characters and their story so much in fact that I wish it had been longer because I was not ready to let them go, but since this visit was such a delightful treat then I am sure the many other opportunities I have to visit Woodland Creek will be just as enjoyable. 4 ½ STARS

  • The truth can be dangerous

I received an ARC of "Dragon's Web" from the author, in exchange for an honest review. Now this was an INTENSE read from the very start & my first Lia Davis book, I jumped in feet first & sunk within the words. The first chapter had me enthralled, intrigued in what was going to happen next. "Dragon's Web" is Lia Davis' installment for the "Woodland Creek" collection, a collaboration of 30 authors all writing about 1 little town in Indiana USA, I was intrigued with the concept behind this collection. I found myself unable to stop reading (not that I wanted too), I was drawn into the book so fast learning as Nyna does about the truth revolving around her parents murders. The conflict, hurt, pain, suspense, lies, all adding to the story. Lets not forget the epic love triangle with the territorial shifters involved. I really enjoyed this, I couldn't put it down until I found out what happened at the end. I need to read more books from Lia Davis & I also can't wait to read what the others have written for the "Woodland Creek" collection.
