    What an incredible story!

When they were just kids, Landon and Rana were best friends. After Rana and her family left suddenly, they lost contact. But thirteen years later, Rana still thinks about Landon. One night, after drinking too much wine, Rana drunk dials Landon. What surprises her most is that he remembers her. From there, they start reconnecting. But they are living in different states and they have secrets they're afraid to unveil. Will Rana's drunk dialing lead her to her happy ending? I loved Drunk Dial! The story captivated me from the blurb and once I started reading I couldn't put my Kindle down! Rana and Landon's story is beautiful and full of romance, laughter, drama, sexy scenes, and secrets. The story took me in an incredible ride! I totally didn't expect Landon's and Rana's secrets and they blew me away. I loved the chemistry between Landon and Rana. It was off the charts. Their crazy banter was hilarious and made me laugh a lot. Rana has been through very difficult journey. She never felt comfortable in her own skin and made mistakes that now she regrets. But she's a fighter and works hard to try to rectify her mistakes. She's also very sweet and kind. I loved her relationship with her father and with Lilith. Landon has been through a lot too and made several mistakes in his young life. But now his life is back on track. He works hard and loves his job. He's very kind and gentle with Rana, but also very possessive and protective. He made me swoon a lot with both his sweet gestures and his dirty mouth. Penelope Ward outdid herself with Drunk Dial! The story will hook you from the first page and her writing style makes it very easy to connect with the characters. You'll not regret this amazing ride that is Landon and Rana's story!

    Cringe

I thought the beginning had a lot of potential, but it fizzled out very quickly. After I had bought the book sadly. I felt nothing other than that cringe feeling when you read something cheesy.

    Couldn’t connect to the characters

Wasn’t a bad but, but felt the characters were lacklustre, and couldn’t really connect with them. Their love felt forced or rushed in some way, and the obstacles (especially on the hero’s side) seemed a bit too random.
