    Hard to put down

What an amazing book. Ken Follett never lets us down with his amazing storeys that weave history with fictional characters that are completely believable. This book is amazing, so difficult to put down. I was entertained from beginning to end. Thank you Mr Follett.

    Edge of Eternity

The third book of an extensively intense time in world history. It is the light at the end of the tunnel after the very overwhelming and disparing Winter of the World. Recommend that you read all three books.

    Epic in a true sense

As a stand alone book, Edge of Eternity is a great read. Encompassing the lengthy cold war from several viewpoints it shines a light on some of the more misrepresented parts of history. However, as part of the century trilogy it falls a little short. Being the 3rd and 4th generation, there are , any more family members and therefore central characters. Therefore their stories never really feel fully fleshed out. Again as it is covering such a long time frame, events in history are only briefly covered making much of the book feel rushed comparatively. Overall, I think a good read and should be read by anyone who has started the trilogy.

    The Century Trilogy

Excellent the way the characters interweave throughout the Trilogy is masterful. Enjoyed all three and particularly the mix of fiction with factual events.
