    Slow reveal

Good page turning book with slow reveal. A little easy to predict but loved Eleanor's character. Inaccurate reference to what's available under the freedom of information act though.

    Great read

Could not put it down - an incite into the life of a child in care with no good support - funny, sad at times and a great wee read.

    Book of 2017!

Believe the hype! Loved this novel, which features one of the wittiest, most endearing characters in contemporary fiction. A story that threads loneliness, isolation and child abuse with friendship, kindness and ultimately, hope. Honeyman is an accomplished storyteller, this is definitely one to re-read!
