    Loved it

Another great read. Have loved every book I have read. Loved the subtle intertwining of characters or place from other series. Characters are always strong & flawed in some way or have had to overcome serious obstacles & issues in their past. Love spending time with all the characters. Do yourself a favor & read anything by Jay Crownover. One book & you will be hooked

    Escape

It always pleases me when I read a new writers book and I really love it. The writing is so robust and the storyline weaves its way through and draws you in. The characters are colourful and strong and each has their on story. I would definitely recommend Jays books.

Friends to enemies to lovers at its best

What a fantastic end to the Warner brothers trilogy, another book full of action, suspense and of course romance. Book 3 concentrates on the youngest Warner brother, Lane, and his best friend and step mom, Brynn. Brynn is not your traditional step mom and is actually the same age as Lane and the story guides the reader through the extremely complicated history that these two characters have. It’s a true friends to lovers romance with the addition of lots of action and suspense provided by an adorable teenager named Bauer. My heart actually hurt for all these characters, but probably most of all for Bauer, who has had to deal with and see so many things that a teenage boy never should. During their road trip across America, Brynn and Lane come face to face with the dregs of society, and meet some very interesting people. With a few surprises in the mix (including a wonderful cameo from one of Jay’s other series), we get to see the grand finale of all the Warner brothers and their hot headed independent women. I’m loving this side of Jay Crownover and I’m hoping she continues with this series, I’m looking forward to ‘someday’ when Jay writes the story for Webb and Ten, I think that will make for very interesting reading.

    Terrific read

Another great read from Jay. It was lovely how this book linked in with characters & stories from the other series Jay has written about. This book although part of a series, can be read as a standalone although I would recommend reading the Retreat series in order to get a better understanding of the characters back story.

    Warner Brothers

I have read all of Jay’s books but this series really resonated with me. Her characters are so real and the story lines so contemporary. It is always a good read when I have to wipe away some tears. Can’t wait for the next book.
