    Great

Hope its not the end of Rebus as a consulting detective. There is life in the old dog yet.

    Rebus is back!

BRILLIANT. Rankin has brought Rebus back from retirement in a totally believable fashion. Cannot wait for the next book.

    Even Dogs in the Wild

Thank you Ian. Glad Rebus is back. One of his best cases yet & made my flight to Vancover feel like 5 minutes!

    Rebus at his best!

Rebus working with his arch nemesis Cafferty? It was going to be a good story! I like that the pace of the book has slowed a little which parallels with Rebus' age. And welcome little Brillo to the Rebus group. Loved it.

Even Wild Dogs in the Wild

Ian Rankin write another brilliant book about John Rebus. Now retired Rebus finds it difficult to let go of his job in the police force and of his friends and old enemies. Excellent storyline bringing Rebus right up todate. I love these books even though they are gritty and deal with crime and social issues. Read one and you are hooked. Brilliant writer.
