    Every Note Played

This book was absolutely outstanding. My husband doesn’t have ALS but does have many of the problems that Richard experienced. He has a trachy that his BIPAP attaches to. He had a laryngectomy 6yrs ago. He has a feeding tube, a PEJ that goes into the upper bowel. He has only 30% lung capacity. Heart disease. An electronic device to talk with. Throughout this book I thought of how fortunate we were that my darling had the use of his hands and legs. We are blessed and so grateful. ALS ( motor neurones in Australia) is a disease that 2 of our friends died of so this book was an eye opener to me. Thank you Lisa. I have read and enjoyed each of your books.

    Informative as ever

Really interesting, especially how much information Lisa researches and imparts. Seemed to end before I wanted it to!

    Heartbreaking

A beautiful enlightening story with realistic characters. I cried bucket loads at times but then laughed at others. These characters and this hideous disease stayed with me for days after reading. I’d definitely recommend reading it. The only fault- I wish Richard had left letters to Karina, Grace & Bill on his computer explaining some of his life choices. I would have liked to know more about the characters.
