    Raw and honest

So beautifully written. Captures all of the thoughts and feelings you have if you've lost someone close to you. My book Club chose this book and normally I'd avoid something I fear would make me cry but I'm grateful to have read this. Reminds you of how much in our lives we take for granted.

    A great book

An amazing book about relationships within a family. So simple but truly breathtaking and unputdownable!

    Everything I never told you

A page turning book from the first sentence to the last one. Beautiful written. The story of a dysfunctional family, self - absorbed parents, failed dreams, insecurities and secrets.

    Loved this-a page turner

I read this after finishing ‘Little Fires everywhere’ in 24 hrs- this again was a very complex book written very clearly and perceptively. It has a fascinating story line but for me the strength of the book was again from the characters profiles- very believable and often heart rendering portrayals of a dysfunctional family despite everyone’s good intentions, but on closer inspections, their own wants, needs and often denial of their real motivations. Very raw and part of being a human being.
