    Great book, worth the read

Eye for Revenge by Cheryl Bradshaw is a psychological thriller. First, let me thank NetGalley, Kobo Writing Life, and of course the author, for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own. My Synopsis: Having just returned from a trip to Hawaii with her husband Marcus, Quinn Montgomery finds her world turned upside down. Her best friend is dead. How can this be? How can Evie be dead? Still reeling from this news, Marcus starts another fight about Quinn wanting to go back to work. It is more than Quinn can take, and she rushes out into the night and ends up crashing her car. When she awakes in the hospital, she knows it’s time to leave Marcus. She returns to her home town with her parents, and starts to deal with Evie’s death, which turns out to have been a murder, and her 4-year old son may have been a witness to it. As Quinn re-acquaints herself with the town, and the people, she also meets up with Bo, her high-school sweetheart, who is now the detective looking into Evie’s death. Apparently his feelings have never changed, but Quinn is going to try and stay clear of him. There are too many hard feelings. But she does need his help, because she is determined to find out who murdered Evie. As Quinn digs into the murder, and asks questions of anyone in her path, she puts her own life in jeopardy. My Opinions: I really enjoyed this book. I have not “yet” read anything else by this author, but I will. Her writing is clear, and the plot was good. I liked all of the characters, and they all had merit. Even Evie, although dead, had life in this book. I loved the relationship between Quinn and her sister, which seemed real to me. For those that know me, I am not a romance reader, but I didn’t mind the attraction between Quinn and Bo. Overall, it was a fast read, and kept me interested from start to finish.
